Gallery

The Gallery is a place to stop and browse for a while. Mannawords was established by Mike and Jean Adkins, both of whom have enjoyed photography for many years, first with film and now with digital equipment. The gallery displays some of their work and also the work of others who want to share their photographs more widely.

The images on display in the Gallery, accompanied by relevant verses of scripture, will be varied in content and location. Many are intended to show the beauty of views around the UK, and it is hoped that visitors will enjoy what they see here. Images will be changed frequently so do take a look from time to time.

The majority of images from Mike and Jean were taken using Canon T90 and Minolta film cameras and more recently using Nikon SLR and Coolpix cameras. Unfortunately, even excellent equipment produces results limited by the abilities of the users and this gallery is simply intended to display images that we and others have enjoyed taking.

All the images displayed in the Gallery are original works and the photographers who own the copyright have given their permission for them to be used here. We ask that no copies of the images be taken without first seeking permission by contacting us
